Edwardian silver pocket watch stand & solid silver pocket watch~working.
Sterling silver fronted pocket watch stand hallmarked for Birmingham (n)1912 with a Swiss top winding pin set pocket watch in working order. The pocket watch stand has a silver front with a green leather looking back which has a folding stand.
The interior of the box has a green and Blue Velvet/material liner .
The pocket watch stand has some age-related wear, knocks and scuffs but overall in quite good condition.
The hinge and the catch on the side of the box are in good working order.
The maker's mark on the box are for D N H & S of Birmingham were known for their pocket watch cases.
The overall condition of the pocket watch is fair with the silver case having a few dings around the edge and back, it has a fairly clean face with just a few hairline cracks, a nice clear glass and good hands.
The pocket watch movement winds, ticks, runs and seemed to keep fairly good time.
To keep the pocket watch in good running order I suggest a regular service as I can't guarantee the movement.
Please take a careful look at the photos as this makes part of my description.
